This week was a real high for me in my life. Early in the week, Facebook reminded me that I graduated high school 18 years ago! (Also that means I’ve had a DB account for 18 years, what?!)

If you’d have told me on my graduation day where I’d be now, I probably would have thought you were crazy. It’s been a wild ride over the last nearly 2 decades and now I’m fluent in 2 foreign languages (learning a third); can dance tap, ballet, salsa, bachata, merengue (sorta) contemporary, etc; have lived in multiple countries, including France, Italy, Dominican Republic and Colombia; worked as a photographer, teacher, graphic designer and marketing consultant; created/published dozens of podcast interviews, run 2 half-marathons; lost over 50 lbs; raised money for various causes, and so much more. Now I can add performing dance and live television interview in Colombia to the list!!

Here are some clips from my week – including speaking Spanish and dancing salsa with Tatan Hernandez of Sky Energy Dance @hernandeztatan30 on @teleantioquia‘s Las Tres Gracias @lastresgraciastv, performing salsa caleña with @skyenergydance in the intermediate group, and showing off some contemporary dance during our open class at @compania_h3.

Thanks to everyone for these amazing opportunities, it has been an honor. And of course thanks to my friends @carol_saenz @gaby_salcedop & @fox.mood for coming out to support me.
