On-location photo sessions that capture you in the environment of your choice. Location sessions offer photos with a more natural and relaxed look, and can be either staged or more “documentary” in style. These are great for professionals, high school seniors, families or anyone looking for a portrait session, whether for work, school, dating profiles, memories, social media or otherwise.

Studio Sessions
Studio sessions take place in a professional studio environment with customizable professional lighting & a seamless backdrop for classic, modern and creative photos. Studio sessions provide a great option if you don’t have a location for a session or you prefer images on a neutral backdrop or a timeless look – or if you need images for school, work, auditions or casting – whether you’re a student, professional, salesperson, executive, dancer, actor, model or otherwise.

Sessions take place in rented studio location.
Multiple looks – as time allows.
Standard backgrounds: white, light and dark grey. Custom colors or digital backgrounds available for an additional fee.
Professional studio lighting, including 4 or 5+ lights, with custom mood options, including natural/soft, moody, and more.

Booking Info
BOOKING
Signature of a Booking Agreement and receipt of a non-refundable retainer of 35% of session fee is required upon booking to confirm your intent and reserve your session date.
PAYMENT PLANS
100%: on booking;
35% / 65%: on booking & on session date;
35% / 35% / 30%: on booking, on session date & on proof delivery.
35% of total session fee, paid upfront is non-refundable.
LOCATIONS & TRAVEL
All Studio Packages are for sessions in Newburgh, NY. Studio rentals in other locations may require a custom quote. Travel fees may apply for sessions where excessive travel or lodging is required, including sessions outside of a 40 mi radius from Newburgh, NY.
PROOF GALLERIES
Web galleries include photos that have been “digitally processed” (edited) for color, exposure, contrast, clarity and cropping, to create a consistent look and feel. Non-viable images will be deleted.
BEAUTY RETOUCHING
Retouching indicates changes to skin/complexion, removing blemishes, reducing signs of aging, fixing flyaways, simple background cleanup, etc. No changes will be made to body shape. Signs of aging are lightened, but not completely removed.
FAQ
WHEN WILL I GET MY PHOTOS?
Delivery of images varies based on overall workload at the time of your session, in addition to the scope of your project. Proofs are generally provided within 7-15 business days from the date of the session. If no retouching is required, images can be downloaded directly from the gallery. If retouching is included, allow 3-4 weeks from time of image selection for final images. Final images are typically delivered all together, rather than one by one.
WHAT IF I NEED MY IMAGES FASTER?
If you have a specific deadline, first ask if we can accommodate the deadline. A rush fee may be assessed in the event that deliverables are needed faster than the standard time.
WHAT IS A MOOD BOARD & IS IT NECESSARY?
A mood board is a collection of images that inspire the session. This could be for things like subject matter, posing, composition, lighting style / mood, or otherwise. Going through this stage is helpful because then I am sure to make images that meet your needs and desires. In the branding sessions, we can do this process together – and a bit of it is included in the branding questionnaire. In lifestyle sessions and studio sessions, the “look” is more left up to my artistic sensibilities, unless you provide a collection for me as a guide.
ONLY BRANDING SESSIONS INCLUDE PRE-SESSION PLANNING AND A DEDICATED SHOT LIST. HOW DO I KNOW I’LL GET WHAT I NEED FROM A LIFESTYLE OR STUDIO SESSION?
That is true. I always aim to understand and fulfill my clients’ expectations. Because lifestyle and studio sessions are more focused on the session, rather than planning, you can feel free to provide a shot list and mood board for my review prior to the session, if you have specific needs. Otherwise, you can add on an a la carte planning consult so that I can work with you on that.
I HAVE SPECIFIC SHOTS I NEED, BUT DO NOT BELIEVE A BRANDING SESSION IS APPROPRIATE, CAN YOU GUARANTEE WHAT SHOTS YOU’LL TAKE?
I always aim to understand and fulfill my clients’ needs. That said, if you have specific images you require, as long as the requests are reasonable and fit within the scope of the session (i.e. can all be made within the time frame), I will prioritize the images on your shot list during the shoot, provided that you have given it to me in advance for review and we have agreed it is feasible.
WHAT IS A PROOF?
A proof is a photo that has been “digitally processed” (edited) for color, exposure, contrast, clarity and cropping, to create a consistent look and feel with the other images from the grouping. Non-viable images, such as those that are out of focus, the flash didn’t fire, you blinked, etc. are deleted, and are not accessible.

Digital processing/editing includes basic changes that could be made to an image, such as exposure, contrast, white balance, sharpness/clarity and cropping. Retouching is more complex editing that can change the contents of the image, such as smoothing skin, adding/removing elements, cleaning up dust, superimposing images, HDR compositing, general image cleanup, cutting items off a backdrop, etc.
