I recently attended Hudson Valley Click’s 4th Annual Haunted Fashion Shootout at Pure Terror Screampark, formerly at The Castle, but now at Museum Village in Monroe.
It’s quite a strange and awesome place to shoot, because it’s literally a haunted house, and you’re carrying light stands and gear through very tight spaces, surrounded by creepy décor. It’s sometimes a bit chlostrophobic in there, especially once you add in the models!
But it was fun, all in all.
Hudson Valley Click: Haunted Fashion Shootout
This past Sunday I attended the Hudson Valley Click Steampunk shoot at Museum Village in Monroe, NY. The location is pretty cool – it is several small buildings with all old artifacts, set up as different types of scenes, from an old general store and old drug store, to an old print shop, house, firehouse, barn, and more. Our models dressed in steam punk costumes for the theme. See my favorite photos from the shoot here.
Thanks to all the models and hairstylists/makeup artists!

Hudson Valley Click Wedding Shootout – Middletown, NY
Last April I had the pleasure of joining the Hudson Valley Click group in taking over the Goshen Foundry for a day. The day began at the Goshen Inn with models getting made-over into creative, creepy, colorful, goth, etc. characters for the theme “retro-futuristic cyberpunk”. Once completed, photographers and models met up at the old foundry.
This abandoned set of buildings provided a fun, dirty, and industrial set of authentic backdrops for our not so authentic theme. Cameras and fake weapons in hand, we took the place by storm, creating unique images. Getting down and dirty for the pixels, the images coming from the shoot were worth every stain on our clothes.
Below you’ll find my images from the event. Click the continue reading link to get full credit information for models and hair/makeup.
