We discuss:
-
- What exactly is osteopathic medicine?
- Difference in Philosophy between Allopathic (MD) and Osteopathic (DO) medicine approaches.
- What it is important to treat the whole human being, not just a disease on part of the body.
- The importance of patient relationships and why its “80% of the healing process”.
- The importance of teaching a healthy lifestyle, not just handing out prescriptions
- Insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies, and why there needs to be a change in the medical industry.
- Diet, stress reduction, and sleep.
- Being informed properly about your health and seeking out physicians who are holistic or integrative.
- Contemporary “alternative” approaches in medicine.
- and so much more!
